Brio Brand & Culture Pty Ltd (we, us, our) is committed to handling personal information responsibly & in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit thisisbrio.com, how we use it, how long we keep it, & your rights in relation to it. We review this policy regularly & update it when our practices change.

What information we collect
2.1 Information you give us directly
Our website does not include a contact form. If you choose to contact us by email, or connect with us via LinkedIn or another social platform, we will receive whatever information you include - typically your name, email address, & the content of your message.
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or use your contact details for any other purpose without your explicit consent.
2.2 Information collected automatically
Like most websites, thisisbrio.com may collect certain information automatically when you visit. This can include your IP address, browser type & version, pages visited, time & date of your visit, & how you arrived at our site.
We use Framer's built-in analytics tool for this purpose. Framer Analytics is cookieless: it does not set cookies, does not store personal data, & uses a daily-rotating anonymised hash that permanently deletes within 24 hours. No personal data is retained through this process.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
• respond to enquiries & communications you send to us;
• understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it;
• comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Once information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify it.
Website analytics data: not applicable - Framer Analytics uses a daily-rotating anonymised hash. No personal data is stored or retained.
Email enquiries: retained for 2 years from last contact, then deleted or de-identified.

We use third-party platforms to operate our website & business. These include:
Framer - our website platform, which hosts thisisbrio.com. Framer's infrastructure is located outside Australia. By visiting our website, your device communicates with Framer's servers. Framer's privacy practices are governed by its Privacy Statement at framer.com/legal/privacy-statement.
Google Workspace - we use Gmail & Google Drive for business communications & file storage. If you email us, your correspondence is stored on Google's servers outside Australia. Google's privacy practices are governed by its Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
5.2 Overseas recipients
Some of the platforms we rely on store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States. As a small business, we rely on those platforms' own published privacy commitments & standard terms rather than individually negotiated data processing agreements - which is standard practice for businesses of our size.
We have selected platforms that maintain industry-standard privacy & security practices. If you have concerns about how a particular platform handles your data, we encourage you to review their published privacy policies directly.

We may also disclose your information where required or authorised by law, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Brio Brand & Culture or others.
We do not otherwise disclose your personal information without your consent.

Our website contains links to external websites & social media platforms, including LinkedIn. Clicking those links may result in those platforms collecting data about you directly. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites & encourage you to review their policies before sharing any personal information.
Cookies
thisisbrio.com is built on the Framer platform, which may set a small number of essential cookies on your device to enable basic website functionality, including page rendering & navigation. These are session cookies - they are cleared automatically when you close your browser. No personal data is collected or transmitted through them.
For analytics, we use Framer's built-in analytics tool, which is cookieless by design. It does not set cookies, does not store personal data, & generates a daily-rotating anonymised hash to understand visitor patterns. This hash is permanently deleted every 24 hours. No personal data is retained.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or any third-party analytics tools. No cookie consent banner is displayed on our website because we use only essential functional cookies & a cookieless analytics tool, neither of which requires consent under Australian law.
Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information we hold from misuse, loss, & unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. We use reputable, industry-standard platforms for website hosting & communications, & limit access to personal information to those who need it.
No method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or from our website.
Notifiable data breaches
We are subject to the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme under Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to any individual whose information is involved, we will:

• assess whether the breach is likely to result in serious harm;
• notify affected individuals & the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as soon as practicable, & within 30 days of becoming aware.
Access & correction
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to request access to personal information we hold about you, & to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, or incomplete.
To make a request, contact us at support@thisisbrio.com. We will respond within 30 days. In some circumstances we may need to decline access - for example, where providing access would be unlawful - but we will always explain our reasons.

If you believe we have not handled your personal information in accordance with this policy or the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), please contact us at support@thisisbrio.com in the first instance. We will acknowledge receipt & respond substantively within 30 days.
